PM Modi Kuwait Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reached Kuwait on Saturday (21 December 2024) for a two-day official visit. During this visit, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with the leaders of Gulf countries. PM Modi met Indian expatriates as soon as he reached Kuwait. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met 101-year-old former IFS officer Mangal Sen Handa in Kuwait City.

Wave of happiness among Indian expatriates due to PM Modi’s visit
After Prime Minister Modi’s arrival in Kuwait, there is a wave of happiness among the expatriates living there. An Indian expatriate told news agency ANI, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw our performance. It is a very proud moment. It is a big achievement for us. On behalf of our entire team, we are thankful to Prime Minister Modi. He asked us to do so in our name. Ask. We are very happy.”

What is the meaning of this tour?
This visit of PM Modi has happened after 43 years from any Prime Minister. Earlier, Indira Gandhi had visited Kuwait. Relations between India and Kuwait have been friendly. Indian officials said strengthening defense and security cooperation would be a major focus of the visit. The Foreign Ministry also said that discussions are going on with Kuwait for a bilateral investment treaty and defense cooperation agreement.
